Welcome to Truth Famine. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD~Amos 8:11

You Tube Preacher Wars?

Lord help us! When did it become acceptable for preachers of the gospel, some even claiming to be holiness preacher to go back and forth insulting and attacking each other on YouTube? Answer: It didn't, but thats exactly what's going on.
With "behavior reminiscent of the low brow tactics of today's "Rap artist" Pastors, preachers, elders, ministers, some well known some not, have taken to threats, bets, arguments, insults and all manner of idiocy in an ill advised display of machismo in attempt to prove that they have the true gospel. Yes, it's ironic, all caught on tape and no wonder, they recorded the fiasco themselves. OK, I haven't seen anything this spiritually childish and contrary to the word in a long while. (See bellow clips) In one of these episodic events, a tough talking pastor against puts his the house of the Lord up for beet against another preacher's church assets. Now mind you these are supposed to be Gods houses right. Would you say amen to gambling with the churches assets? In another clip, this professed "holiness preacher" drags a woman into the pulpit to discuss his accused infidelity. This is a mockery of Holiness. Saints of God what in the world is going on? When men become so foolish as to make a mockery of Gods word by allowing flesh...yes, flesh to run the pulpit it's time to pray. What I can't figure out is why their members stay under this leadership. So, while I'm condemning this folly let's go to the scriptures so it won't be said that I spoke without authority.
We're talking about two men who disagree on doctrinal positions, questionable teachings and or practices. Rather than discuss these disagreements as the bible instructs us to, the temptation is to let flesh have it's way. So what does the scripture say? Well, let's take a look:
There's a few approaches, but the first thing to address is your behavior:
therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-6 That's what the word says. What else? Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Galatians 6:1 ...and lastly Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren ~1 Timothy 5:1
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.~Romans 16:17 This should be enough of the word to make my point that this is not of God. Yes there are times that call for open rebuke but none that call for pointless insults, haughtiness, boasting, betting,
Saints, know your pastor but more importantly know your bible. This kind of thing may be cute to some
but
God is not pleased.
