If you ask an evolutionist a simple question "what is evolution" You might get a scaled down answer like "evolution is change over time" or something equivalent. The truth is that evolution makes a claim that is, on it face, much more lofty and impossible to prove. The central idea of biological evolution is that all life on Earth shares a common ancestor. That means that, according to evolutionist, men, roaches, the AIDS Virus, mold, etc all come from the same single celled organism.
In his infinite wisdom God gave all living creatures the ability to adapt or change to one degree or another, some more than others. That this can be observed is not in any way evidence of what evolutionist call common decent. As demonstrated (see bellow links) evolution makes a much larger claim than simple change over time, so large in fact that it has never been substantiated scientifically or evidenced in any way. This is why when pressed proponents of evolution quickly attempt to reduces evolution down to it's simplest form. The only alternative would be to make an attempt as suppling evidence for this scientifically unsubstantiated claim.
Not surprisingly many people who ascribe to the theory of evolution are ignorant to the full scope of its claims and in denial about how evolution is being taught throughout our public and private schools and universities. As believers it is incumbent upon us to familiarize ourselves with what it is being taught to our children, friends, and family. Over the last 25 years as evolution has gained in popularity. What was considered a theory is now being misrepresented as fact and funneled through our public schools systems and universities, sometimes with tragic results. The scientific community once thought to function with unbiased objectivity has become a powerful catalyst and recruiting tool within the atheist sub-culture. Evolution has become secular religion and more often than not (as most evolutionist don't fully understand the science behind it) it's taken on faith. The next time someone tells you they believe in evolution, ask them if they really know what evolution claims.
The central idea of biological evolution is that all life on Earth shares a common ancestor, just as you and your cousins share a common grandmother.

The main theory of evolution, is that
all life has evolved from pre-existing life and ultimately from a species that was the ancestor to all life on earth.
