Holy Ghost Filled, Fire Baptized, Gay People?
No, but that's the opinion of the recently "come out" recording artist Tonex.
This is the third segment of a three- part video of gospel artist Tonex as he addresses fully for the first time the true nature of his sexuality, his traumatic experience of childhood molestation, and what it means to him to be gay and Christian. In this candid, yet admittedly at times unsettling interview, Tonex reasons that if God has not yet taken the desire from him, then his homosexuality must be accepted. Keeping in mind that the singer is also a minister, this begs the question; should he continue on in his ministry? Is he still a vessel to be used by God?
To put it plainly, we don't judge. We just point to scripture, in this case
1st Corinthians 6:9
I found this story doing some research online and although this is not new news, it is new in that not only has this man "come out" of the closet, but he is still playing with God and pretending to be a servant of righteousness. The sadest thing is that I'm sure that he has been in the presence of plenty people who could have helped him and pointed him in the right direction, and perhaps many did try. Let's be clear here. The scripture says "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?...it goes on to say....If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
So, we know that God will not dwell in an unclean temple and we know that homosexuality is not only unclean but it is an abomination before God. This is not Advance Theoretical Physics folks. The Truth is very clear, Holy Ghost filled, fire baptized, yes. Gay?...No.
